The M24 Chaffee was an American heavy light of the Second World War. The first prototypes were built in 1943, and serial production was carried out in the period 1944-1945. In total, about 4,700 copies of this tank of all versions were built. The M24 Chaffee was powered by a double engine Cadillac Twin 44T24 with a total power of 220 HP . It was armed with a single 75mm M6 cannon, two 7.62mm Browning 1919A4 machine guns and a single 12.7mm Browning M2HB machine gun.

The M24 Chaffee was created as the successor to the M3 / M5 Stuart light tank series. In designing it, the emphasis was on stronger main armament (a 75mm gun instead of a 37mm gun), better shaped armor, greater off-road capability, and easier handling - especially in the engine compartment. During World War II, several specialized vehicles were built on the chassis of the M24 tank, including the M19 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and the M41 Gorilla self-propelled howitzer. The first M24 Chaffee began to hit the line in mid-1944. They took part in the battles in Normandy, France and West Germany (1944-1945), but also in Italy in the period 1944-1945. After 1945, the M24 Chaffee was also exported to many countries, including Austria, Belgium, Chile, France, Greece and Pakistan. M24 took part in several conflicts after the end of World War II, including the Korean War (1950-1953), the war in Algeria (1954-1962) and Indochina (1945-1954).

The M26 Pershing was an American heavyweight medium, initially classified as heavy from the Second World War and early Cold War periods. The first prototypes were built in 1943, and serial production was carried out in the period 1944-1945. In total, about 2,200 copies of this tank of all versions were built. The M26 Pershing was powered by a single engine Ford GAF V8 with 507 HP . It was armed with a single 90mm M3 cannon, two 7.62mm Browning 1919A machine guns and a single 12.7mm Browning M2HB machine gun.

The M26 Pershing was developed as a new American medium tank, based on the experimental chassis of the T26 tank. The reason for the commencement of work on the M26 was due to the considerable successes achieved by the Germans using the 88 mm gun in the period 1942-1943 in fighting Allied armor. The new tank was therefore to have a gun of a similar caliber and better armor than the M4 Sherman. For propaganda reasons, the M26 was called a heavy tank when it was introduced into the line, but in 1946 it was re-classified as a medium tank. The M26 Pershing was undoubtedly a tank better than the Pz.Kpfw IV of the latest production versions, but it also did not in any way distance such German designs as the Pz.Kpfw V Panther or the Pz.Kpfw VI Tiger, in terms of firepower and armor. With this in mind, the Americans developed a very short series of M26E4 Super Pershing vehicles, which had much more powerful armor and a better anti-tank gun. However, cars of this series were produced in very small numbers. The first M26 Pershing entered the line at the end of the war at the turn of 1944 and 1945 and fought primarily in West Germany. After 1945, they remained in the line and in US Army units took part in the Korean War (1950-1953). Based on the M26 chassis, the M46 Patton was developed, which replaced the M26 from the American lines in the early 1950s. Small amounts of the M26 have entered military service in Belgium, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.

The M114 howitzer is an American 155mm towed howitzer from the post-war and modern times. The initial velocity of the demolition shell from this gun is up to 563 m / s, with a maximum range of about 14,600 meters.

The M114 howitzer was developed and produced at Rock Island Arsenal from 1941 to 1953. In total, more than 10,000 copies of this weapon were created. Despite initial work based on the French Schneider 155mm cannon, the M114 howitzer was developed from scratch. Despite the long research and development process, the new howitzer turned out to be a successful weapon. It had a good firing range, good rate of fire and good overall reliability. The quality of this weapon is proved by the fact that it was used both during World War II and during the Korean (1950-1953) or Vietnam (1964 / 1965-1975) wars and it was replaced in the US Army only by the M198 howitzer. The M114 howitzer was also exported to many countries and is still in service with the armies of countries such as Brazil, South Korea and Pakistan.

The M8 Greyhound (greyhound) was an American armored car from the Second World War. The first prototypes were built in 1941, and serial production was carried out in the period 1943-1945. In total, around 12,300 copies of this vehicle were made with the M20 version. The M8 Greyhound was powered by a single carburetor engine Hercules JXD with 110 HP . It was armed with a single 37mm M6 gun in the turret, 1 Browning 1919A4 7.62mm machine gun and 1 Browning M2HB 12.7mm machine gun.

The M8 Greyhound was created in response to the demand from the US Tank Destroyer Command for a new wheeled reconnaissance vehicle. The contract for its production was awarded to a consortium of Ford and General Motors. The new armored car was based on a six-wheeled chassis, which provided it with good off-road mobility. It was also very quiet while driving and showed a high top speed - almost 90 km / h. The disadvantages include relatively thin armor and relatively weak armament - especially in the period 1944-1945. Based on the M8 Greyhound, in 1943, the M20 was created, which differed in the photo of the turret and the armament consisting only of a single 12.7 mm Browning M2HB machine gun. The armored car armored car fought in Europe: in Italy in the period 1943-1945 and took part in the battles in Normandy, France and West Germany (1944-1945). He also fought in the Far East against Japanese troops. After the end of World War II, it found its way to many foreign operators, including Austria, Belgium, France, Greece and South Korea.

The M4 High Speed Tractor was an American tracked artillery tractor from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were created in 1942, and serial production continued in the years 1942-1945, ending with the production of approximately 5,500 vehicles of this type. The M4 High Speed Tractor was powered by a single engine Waukesha 145GZ with a power of 210 hp. It was armed with 1 machine gun: Browning M2, cal. 12.7 mm.

The M4 High Speed Tractor was built on the chassis of the M3 Stuart light tank, which significantly shortened the analytical work and the implementation of the vehicle into serial production. The vehicle was characterized by good off-road mobility, reliability and easy operation in field units. It was also relatively cheap to produce. In the US Army, it was used primarily as a tractor for heavy cannons and field howitzers (e.g. the M1 / M2 Long Tom) or heavy anti-aircraft artillery (e.g. the 90mm M1 AA Gun). The vehicle could also take up to 10 gun crew members. The main development version was the M4A1, which had a reinforced suspension. The M4 High Speed Tractor was used by American troops both in the Pacific region and - above all - during the fighting in France and West Germany in 1944-1945. After the end of World War II, many of this type of vehicles found their way to the US allies, including Greece, the Netherlands, Japan and Pakistan. The M4 High Speed Tractor cars were withdrawn from the US Army in the 1960s.
